You have the power to energize Camp Kesem today!
Camp Kesem at Carnegie Mellon is a non-profit organization that hosts a free, volunteer-run summer camp for children who have been impacted by a parent's cancer and aims to support families year-round. There are millions of children impacted by a parental cancer in the United States, and Camp Kesem Carnegie Mellon seeks to provide a community in Pittsburgh for local children through and beyond their parent’s cancer diagnosis. This is all made possible by passionate Carnegie Mellon students, donations and community support. Camp Kesem at Carnegie Mellon was founded by students in Spring 2014, and held its first camp in August 2015! Our goal this year is to serve 35 children affected by a parent's cancer, and to make this cost-free support a reality, we will need to raise $45,000 over the next year. Please join us in providing a safe space and community for children and families who have been impacted by cancer.
Giving CMU Day is your chance to illuminate the next bright idea in Camp Kesem! 💡
