You have the power to energize CMU Counterpoint today!
Founded in 2000, Counterpoint is Carnegie Mellon’s first all women & nonbinary inclusive a cappella group, dedicated to redefining the potential of treble-voice a cappella. While we perform regularly on campus, our goal is to expand beyond Carnegie Mellon and represent our university on larger stages. This year, we placed second at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Central Quarterfinals, advancing to the Semifinals in Buffalo, NY.
With your support, we can cover travel expenses for off-campus performances and competitions like ICCA, allowing us to bring Counterpoint’s unique sound to new audiences. Expanding our presence not only showcases our talent but also enhances Carnegie Mellon’s recognition on national stages. Your contribution will help us continue our mission of artistic growth, collaboration and building lasting connections both within and outside the CMU community.
Giving CMU Day is your chance to illuminate the next bright idea in CMU Counterpoint! 💡
