You have the power to energize Out in STEM today!

oSTEM empowers LGBTQ+ people in STEM to succeed personally, academically and professionally by cultivating environments and communities that nurture innovation, leadership and advocacy. At CMU, our oSTEM branch is working to build a robust community of learners dedicated to inclusivity and professional development.

We hope to use the funds raised in Giving Day in a variety of ways to support our mission statement. Our most costly expense is sending chapter members to the national oSTEM conference every year to network with other oSTEM members, attend talks and workshops and/or present their own research. This would require us to have the funds for travel, rooms, registration fees and/or meals for those attendees.
