The Children's School

Operating now for over fifty 50 years, the Carnegie Mellon University Children’s School is part of the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences' Department of Psychology and is one of the most popular programs in the Pittsburgh area. The Children's School is a laboratory school that is actively involved in preschool and kindergarten education, developmental research, undergraduate teaching and training of both pre-service and practicing educators.

Every gift to the Ann Baldwin Taylor Early Childhood Scholarship Fund will support crucial tuition assistance for our families who need it most. Additionally, each gift to the Children’s School will be made in honor of our longtime director, Sharon M. Carver, who stepped down earlier this year.
