CMU Wushu

The mission of CMU Wushu is to become a supportive place for anyone who is interested in either learning about or practicing performative wushu, also known as taolu wushu. We put focus on providing a fun way for students to exercise, building strength, flexibility and coordination by learning performative routines, rather than hand-to-hand sparring. It also provides an opportunity to connect with Chinese culture by learning about the history behind wushu and performing at cultural events around campus. To achieve this goal, CMU Wushu needs proper equipment such as prop weapons, attire/footwear and training gear. Any donation would bring great benefits to CMU’s cultural experience, and would be greatly appreciated.
