Counterpoint is Carnegie Mellon University’s oldest all treble-voice a cappella group. Founded in 2000, the group aims to redefine the potential of treble-voice ensembles through dynamic performance and musical collaboration.
Our fundraising goal is to support Counterpoint’s participation in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), our primary annual competition. Through ICCA and related performance activities, we are able to represent Carnegie Mellon on a national stage while growing musically and as a team. Funds raised will help cover competition registration fees, travel to competition sites, and expenses associated with preparing for and attending performances.
Funds raised will be used for travel expenses (transportation, lodging and meals), ICCA registration fees, rehearsal-related costs and food during extended rehearsals. These resources help ensure that all members can fully participate regardless of financial barriers.
