The Tartan Student Fund (TFS) is Carnegie Mellon’s only student-run investment fund managing $150K, providing students with hands-on experience managing real capital.
Our mission is to develop the next generation of investors at Carnegie Mellon while building TSF into one of the most recognized student investment funds in the United States. Your support will directly expand opportunities for our members and strengthen TSF’s national presence.
Donations will help fund TSF-hosted stock pitch competitions, allowing students to compete with top universities while growing TSF’s national reputation. Contributions will also support the launch of our first TSF Finance Summit (Fall 2026) bringing alumni and industry leaders to campus for panels, keynote talks, and networking opportunities. Support will also provide students with professional research tools and data platforms, enabling them to perform the rigorous analysis expected in the investment industry.
